I worked with Kevin on a community-centered design process using his Innovation Funnel model. As a consultant Kevin brings a unique and compelling set of skills -from being an expert in leading groups through design processes to agile communicator, web designer, marketing lead and webinar coordinator. Kevin supported our project from “end to end” and provided leadership that led to hundreds of people contributing to our work. More than one workshop attendee commented that our planning process was the best they had been part of.
Kevin’s expertise in organizing and promoting the events was invaluable, and his ability to facilitate a design thinking process helped participants to develop their own design thinking skills while framing ongoing discussions that are vital to the growth of the library and information profession. And best of all, we had fun! Kevin’s leadership allowed the project team to focus on the bigger picture issues while he managed the workshop/event logistics.
We had the great pleasure of inviting Kevin as a keynote speaker at our annual conference. The conference brought together roughly 120 participants from the entire Swedish innovation ecosystem. In addition to his lecture, Kevin organized an appreciated workshop for selected participants in problem solving. Kevin delivered new ways of thinking about problems with enthusiasm and energy. I have had the privilege of observing Kevin’s outstanding work as both a colleague and a client.
