This session reports on the findings of the DATALIS program, part of the Institute of Museum and Library Services-funded LEADING project, which sought to use an innovation management approach.

In early 2024, DATALIS employed the Innovation Funnel methodology to envision potential pathways to enable professional education focusing on data science content areas. Through the multi-stage effort of LEARN, WORK, DEVELOP, PRESENT, the project engaged hundreds of participants and surfaced 13 unique potential solutions published at https://datalis.design/present/.

The presenters will review how the Innovation Funnel methodology drove engagement and solution exploration, and discuss future pathways for further exploring the identified solutions.
